Six dead, 94 +ve as Telangana readies to test 280 junior doctors
HYDERABAD: Telangana on Monday recorded six deaths and 94 more novel coronavirus cases as health authorities said they were preparing to test all junior doctors of the Osmania Medical College in its effort to contain the virus among medicos. The caseload reached 2,792 with 88 deaths in state.
Health authorities said the decision to test junior doctors was taken after seven PG doctors tested positive. There are 280 students in two separate hostels. The decision was taken after inquiries revealed that the doctors were exposed to Covid-19 as they were on duty in the hospital.

Explained: Debate over a homoeo drug
A homoeopathic drug, Arsenicum album 30, has become a subject of debate after several states recommended it for prophylactic (preventive) use against Covid-19. This was after the Ministry of AYUSH listed the drug among “preventive and prophylactic simple remedies” against Covid-19.
